Robotic Arm FAB 9000
FAB 9000 is a robotic arm started as a final project for the Fab Academy program, a digital fabrication course directed by Neil Gershenfeld from the Center for Bits and Atoms at MIT. It features modular nodes connected through serial protocol and commanded in real time via a Python script.
I studied Civil Engineering but always wished to be a scientist and an inventor. By a sequence of misterious coincidences, on January 2013 I joined in the Iaac/Fablab Barcelona the Fab Academy directed by Neil Gershenfeld which opened a window to a new and unexplored universe to me: makers, dyers, hackers, geeks of the world, all my atoms are belong to you.
