design for everyone

Design  for (every)one is open-design program on assistive technology.  It aims to bridge the gap between inclusive design and personalized manufacturing. Designers, occupational therapists and disabled people join forces to create on-of-a-kind product adaptations and share openly their experiences.

Lieven is active at the Industrial Design Center, Ghent University. On the one hand he organizes design practicums and on the other hand he started a PhD on participative prototyping in cooperation with the TuDelft Medisign group. His research focuses on self-organizing co-design behavior.
