Campfire, robots of tomorrow!
This is a school project, made in less than 3 days, from the early concept to the concretization of the prototype. The project was born during an exploration around interactive spaces. Project Campfire is a smart object that lives in everyday spaces; it is an autonomous agent that can move and bring light where is needed. It gives a new sense of union in the house of the future, bringing back the emotion of the campfire.
This project was conceived at the beginning by Pierluigi Dalla Rosa, Owen McFadzen and Takeshi Okahashi. Pierluigi Dalla Rosa is a young italian technologist who is studying at Copenhagen Institute of Interaction Design. In the past he worked in different institutions, in Italy and in California.
