What are the days of the fair?

The exhibition fair will be held on Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 October 2013 at the Palazzo dei Congressi in Rome. More than 200 selected European Makers will present their projects, workshops, performances, live talks.
There is an entrance fee for the fair, see here. The ticket allows you to visit the exhibition and attend workshops and perform.ances.
On Thursday 3 and Friday 4 October, there will be many other initiatives. Take a look at the full programme

What are the opening hours?

The fair is open to the public on 5 October from 9.30 until 19.00 and on 6 October from 9.30 until 18.00

 

How much do tickets cost?

The ticket costs Euro 8.00
For some categories it is possible to buy a reduced ticket.

Do children pay the entrance fee?

Children under 2 years enter free of charge.
Children up to 18 years pay a reduced ticket (Euro 4).
There are also reductions for families.

For how long are tickets valid?

Entrance tickets are valid for one day and can only be used during the exhibition fair on 5 and 6 October 2013

 

Can one ticket be used for both days of the exhibition fair?

No, tickets are valid for only one entry on one of the two days of your choice (5 or 6 October)

 

Can I visit the fair on 3 October?

During the day, the only event on the programme is the Opening Conference. The fair is still closed to the public and there are no exhibitors. Participation in the Opening Conference is free for those who have registered.

Can I visit the fair on 4 October?

The day is dedicated to visits by schools, which can participate by filling in the registration form at this link. During the day, the exhibition fair is closed to the public and stands cannot be visited.
At 15.00, there is a Techgarage and participation is free for those who register on the website.

 

Are pets allowed?

Sorry, but we cannot allow entry for pets.

 

How can I participate in the Opening Conference on 3 October?

Participation is free simply by registering. For information and registration. After registering, you will receive a printable ticket by email. Bring it with you on 3 October, but please remember that you cannot visit the stands.

 

How can I participate in the Techgarage on 4 October?

Participation is free simply by registering. For information and registration http://www.makerfairerome.eu/il-programma/techgarage/. However, please remember that you cannot visit the stands on 4 October.
