Who are the 15 inventors chosen by Focus (and who you should definitely vote for)

Focus4MakersWe have already told you about the 320 projects from all over the world, now it is time to take a closer look at some of the ideas chosen. 15 inventors are presented in the preview in number 251 of Focus (on sale from 13 August): all inventions with a high creative content that will be hosted by the Maker Faire Rome from 3 to 6 October 2013. But that’s not all.

Here you will come face to face with the 15 projects chosen by the monthly publication and vote for your favourite. The winner will receive the special Focus prize.

Robots, interactive bicycles, 3D printers and living circuits: ask the inventors and they will show you anything. They are the creators of the new millennium, people of all ages able to create incredible things in their garage at home, school classrooms and universities. The good news is that after the summer you can find them all here in Rome. Don’t believe us? Well, you know that the new DIY inventors will take part in the Maker Faire Rome (www.makerfairerome.eu) from 3 to 6 October. If you don’t want to wait, take a look at 15 of the hundreds of projects that will transform the capital into a workshop of innovation never seen before.
